Our apartment is a clean, well-lighted place, an ideal tabula rasa in which to live the first three months of our sojourn.White is the predominant hue and tall is the predominant dimension.
Even the cabinets in the kitchen, shower room and bedroom stretch 7-8 Karla-proof feet toward the 10 1/2 feet ceilings (yes, we measured).
The kitchen and shower room are separated by a giant piece of very heavy opaque glass which slides back and forth to provide privacy. It takes every one of Karla's major muscle groups to move it.

Just for clarification, can you put the dimensions in "Karla's" from now on? Example 1: "The walls are approximately 2.2 Karla's tall." Example 2: "The apartment is 10 Karla's wide and 8 Karla's long." This will help me visualize things more accurately. Thanks.
